The RMAYSA Wildfire U-12 girls team got it's start in the fall of 2006 as a U10 recreational tournament team that competed in four tournaments during the Spring/Summer 2007 season. The roster currently consists of fourteen girls from the Rocky Mount area. They will travel and play competitive soccer in other communities in Eastern North Carolina and travel to weekend tournaments in North and South Carolina and Virginia. While participating on this team the girls will be developing advanced soccer skills, responsibility, teamwork, dedication, self-worth, and confidence that will help build great character traits needed as they grow into adults. The team will have a chance to play in tournaments such as the Beast of the East in Greenville, NC, the Can Am Cup 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC just to name a few. We will participate in the Down East Soccer League, which consists of teams from Wilson, Roanoke Rapids, Greenville, New Bern, and Washington for the 2008/2009 season. Please visit
